Patrick and I went away for a week in Tucson AZ. What a beautiful place!! It was 80 degrees all week so that was a great reprieve from our harsh midwestern weather. We stayed at the Ventana Resort, which was right nest to the Sabino Canyon foothills.

This was what it looked like from our back door. There were saguaro cactus everywhere and a waterfall in the distance.

They had some nice trail around the resort, that you could take right up to the falls, there were flowers and other succulents that were growing wild.

And speaking of wild, we were coming down the hillside when a wild critter appeared, he had come down to the stream to drink and eat some of the little green vegetation that was starting to crop up. These animals we found out later are called "javelinas" or wild boars(pigs).
We did not bother him and he did not bother us. We saw and did so many other things I'll have to make separate posts to accomidate all of them.
