Kitt Peak

During our Tucson trip we decided to venture to Kitt Peak National Observatory. It was truely a great experience. We had a perfect day, it was sunny and warm.

As you can see there are several observatories on top of the mountain, we took a tour and were able to go into one of them.
This is the solar telescope, the was a smaller one we could look through and see the sun and sun spots.
This is the smaller scope, the docent inside was very informative and helpful.
