Trees, trees, trees.

Although we did not do an "official hike" out of the hiking book, we did walk a few miles with my sister and brother in law this week. I've been wanting a Buckeye and Sassafras tree for my back yard and well the woods are full of them, sooooo we came home with one of each and a Hard Maple tree to boot. This is the buckeye before we dug him up.

We saw some beautiful wild flowers on our hike.As well as some very interesting fungus!!

All in all it was a great afternoon. I hope the trees like their new home.
