Bavarian plates

There's this little second hand store I sometime frequent, and I like to poke around the dishes.

Now if there is one thing I do not need it is more dishes, but I love to look at them and try to find something special. I found these two Bavarian plates, one is a Sevres and one is a Tilly.

My grandmother had some beautiful Bavarian bowls that I remember growing up and these plates remind me of those bowls. Now I do not know what I will do with these plates, but right now I just like to look at them and imagine who might have served a wonderful slice of German Chocolate cake or some other yummy dessert on them.
